What this covers
MegaWrench is currently collecting emails for a free beta waitlist. This policy explains what we collect for that waitlist and how we use it. Submitting your email does not create an account.
Information we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you submit and the time it was submitted. After a first-time signup, we may also ask one optional follow-up question about your expectations or needs; if you answer, we store that response with your email.
How we use it
We use your email only to send free beta updates and to email you a link to create an account when the waitlist ends. We do not sell your email or use it for unrelated advertising.
Storage
Waitlist emails are stored in our cloud infrastructure so we can manage invites. Access is limited to people operating MegaWrench.
Analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity on this marketing site to understand how people use it. Clarity may record session replays and heatmaps of interactions such as clicks, scrolls, and page views. This helps us improve the site and waitlist experience. Clarity is provided by Microsoft; see Microsoft's Privacy Statement. Waitlist emails are still only used for free beta updates and account-creation emails as described above.
Retention and removal
We keep your email while the waitlist and beta are active. If you want it removed, email [email protected] from the address you used to sign up.
Changes
If we expand beyond a waitlist into a full product account system, we will update this policy and link it from the site.
